Monday

that has made all the difference

Over a year ago, I switched to tea as my primary hot beverage, after many years of worshipping at the coffee altar. I still love my coffee, it just doesn't love me back. To my delight, this switch has opened up a rich world of culture and sensory experiences. The tiny travel set above is one of those joys. It has a lovely celadon glaze that enhances the appearance of the gyokuro, a fine Japanese tea.

The Gear

Everybody asks about the gear, (I know, I'm guilty too!) so here's what I'm using most often:

Canon 7D
Canon 24-105mm F4L
Canon 50mm 1.4
Canon 100mm 2.8 macro
Canon Speedlite 430EX
Lensbaby Composer plus LB extras
Minolta XE-7 with Rokkor 50mm 1.4
Minolta SRT-101 with Rokkor 50mm, Vivitar 200mm

I covet:
Canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS
Canon 16-35m F2.8L II
Canon 1.4x teleconverter
Sigma 300mm F2.8 EX

About a geekgirl and her photos...

This was a hobby that became so much more. I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoy making them. I'm working on integration with Fotomoto, where you are now able to have a little piece of my photo-art in your hot little hands. Photos are available as flat cards or greeting cards. You may also email it as an e-card. E-cards will appear exactly as posted. Regular cards will be available without my watermark.

If you see one of my photos somewhere else, and you love it, send me email and I'll do my best to get it linked here.

Note: Photos on this site without links are not for sale.
